I Challenge You To Ask the Right Question

i challengeyou to ask the right question-2

And someone said to him, “Lord, will those who are saved be few?” And he said to them, “Strive to enter through the narrow door. For many, I tell you, will seek to enter and will not be able.   Luke 13:23-24

Have you ever gotten caught up in an argument about whether or not someone is going to be saved and go to heaven? Whether it was a certain group of people living in a remote country or a group of people close to home that live differently? These arguments happen and people really get caught up with them, even to the point of not being in church anymore because of these arguments.

But all of these kinds of arguments end up being a distraction, like a philosophical argument that doesn’t get you anywhere.

Because that’s not the question Jesus is asking, he’s not asking about this or that person, but Jesus is asking about you.

What about you? Are you baptized in Jesus’ name? Have you repented of your sins and receive God’s forgiveness? Do you trust in Jesus as your savior and Lord? By God’s Grace is your life conforming to how God has called you to live?

Not others, but you? What is happening in your life, Jesus is asking right now, what about you? Where are you in all this because tomorrow is not promised to us, today is all that we have.

Jesus has already died on the cross for you. Turn  to Jesus, repent, believe, (be baptized if you haven’t been yet) and receive the forgiveness and life that can only come from faith in Jesus.

I challenge you to ask the right question, Jesus will have a good answer for you.
