What season of life are you living in?

One of the great joys that I get to experience in pastoral ministry is walking alongside so many people that come from every season of life. I have the opportunity to share in the fun of our babies and little kids, I get to spend time with our teens and young adults, help plan for the seasons of weddings and baptisms, sit down and talk with parishioners that share my season of life, spend quality time with those in the seasons past me and hear their wonderful stories.

Every season of life is different and has it’s own unique challenges and joys, special in it’s own kind of way.

But what I have noticed is that for the Christian, as diverse and different are the people and the seasons of life, what remains the same in every season of life is our Rock and Redeemer Jesus Christ. From the waters of holy baptism to the last season of earthly life, Jesus Christ is the same, yesterday, today and forever.

What a wonderful Rock we can rest upon, knowing that no matter what the seasons of life may bring us, we can always know our Jesus will never change, just like his love for us will never change and his eternal promises for us will never change.

No matter what season of life you are in, celebrate the never changing promises found in our Savior, Christ the King.
